Donegal Rainclouds was written after a trip to the family homestead in Ireland in 2018. I walked the tracks which my Granny once walked, I saw where she went to school and explored the dramatic (rainy...) landscapes beneath the Blue Stack Mountains. This is a deeply personal song, all about Irish family roots, written and sung in a very traditional Celtic way.
